Fort Lewis lacrosse defeated Northern Arizona University in a back and forth game Friday in Flagstaff. Although the Fort struggled in the first half trailing behind two goals coming into the end of the second quarter, the pace of the game took a turn with a goal scored by senior Chad Murphy. Following the goal that brought them within one, Matthew Lindsley was quick to place in another bringing the game to a tie. Goalie Peter Gavinski was the highlight having a total of twenty one saves and Andy Grenhart put in the team high of four goals. The final score was 11-8 finishing on top and are on their way to California for the rest of the spring break lacrosse road trip!
